3. What directions and specialties does AIK offer?

4. How to participate in the recruitment process?

5. What is the recruitment fee?
Recruitment fee is 85 PLN. The data for payment will be made available after filling in an electronic recruitment form on an individual recruitment account. More about the recruitment fee in the tab Fees.
6. Does the choice of alternative directions affect the recruitment fee?
Candidates who apply for admission to the main and alternative courses of study at the University shall pay one recruitment fee
According to the terms and conditions and the recruitment procedure, a candidate in a given recruitment can be accepted only for one field of study.
7. Is there a fee to study at Ignatianum?
Full-time studies at the Jesuit University Ignatianum in Krakow are free of charge.
8. What are the fees for part-time studies?

9. How to choose a specialization within a given direction?
The list of specializations and dates of selection of specializations for a given course can be found in Educational offer for the academic year 2020/2021. Detailed information on the selection of specializations at The Faculty of Education can be found in Resolution No. 55/2018/2019 of the Council of the Faculty of Education. At The Faculty of Philosophy, the decision to qualify for the specialization is made by the Director of the Institute, in the case of a large number of people interested in choosing a given specialization.
10. What kind of education do you need to have in order to apply for a second degree?
The different courses at Ignatianum have different educational requirements. Information on these requirements can be found in Recruitment conditions.
11. Does the candidate have to make a personal registration?
If a candidate is unable to submit documents in person, he or she may appoint a proxy who will carry out all the formalities related to enrolment on behalf of the candidate. The attorney must have the following set of documents with him/her:

- Signed by the candidate power of attorney
- A set of documents necessary to make an entry for the studies
- The identity card of the proxy and the original candidate's identity document or a copy of the candidate's identity document confirmed by a notary public, these documents should be presented to the employee of the Recruitment Office
12. How can you move to Ignatianum from another university?
Transfer to a selected Ignatianum course from another university is not connected with the recruitment process for studies. In this case you should contact the individual organizational units of the University. See: Philosophy Department, Pedagogy Department.
13. Does a foreigner who wants to study at Ignatianum have to confirm their knowledge of the Polish language?
Yes, it is a requirement. The studies at Ignatianum are conducted in Polish. Before the results are announced, during the electronic registration, the foreigner is obliged to send a scan of a document confirming the knowledge of the Polish language at the level of minimum B1 through the e-recruitment system. More in the tab Knowledge of the Polish language.
If a foreigner does not have a document confirming his/her knowledge of the Polish language, he/she will be obliged to take a Polish language proficiency test conducted by the Ignatianum in accordance with Recruitment schedule. The possession of a document confirming the knowledge of the Polish language or obtaining a positive result from the Polish language proficiency test is a condition for the candidate to be included in the qualification procedure. 14. Does the lack of the English language certificate do not allow you to apply for the English Philology degree?
In the qualification procedure for the first degree studies in English Philology two subjects are taken into account: Polish and English, more in the tab Recruitment conditions.
However, if a candidate interested in the field of English Philology who has passed the Matura exam abroad does not have the Matura exam in English, he or she has the opportunity to take the English language test in accordance with The recruitment schedule.. The test results will be given as a percentage and converted into ranking points according to a coefficient of 0.3 (e.g. 70% x 0.3 = 21 ranking points). Taking the test is a condition for a candidate to be included in the qualification procedure. More information about the date, place and registration can be found in here.
15. Or in both directions: Pedagogy (two-stage studies) and Pre-primary and Early Childhood Pedagogy (Master's degree), you can obtain qualifications for the teaching profession in kindergarten and classes I-III?
Qualifications for the teaching profession in kindergarten and classes I-III can be obtained only by graduates of single master's degree in kindergarten and early school pedagogy. It is not possible to obtain such qualifications in the field of Pedagogy (two-stage studies).
However, graduates of the first degree studies in the field of pedagogy preparing for the teaching profession of a kindergarten and classes I-III of a primary school, in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of 6 August 2019 amending the Regulation on Master's studies in the field of pre-school and early-school pedagogy, may continue their education in this field to the second degree pedagogy, but only on a part-time basis.

16. Can minors enroll in the Ignatianum?

17. Can changes be made to the declaration, in the electronic system?
Changes in the declaration may be made before the status is granted: "Candidate(s) have submitted an application", which the candidate receives after recording the recruitment fee and verifying the grades.
